Yageo officially completes the acquisition of Schneider Industrial Sensor Division

According to micronet news, YAGEO, a major Taiwanese passive component manufacturer, announced that it has completed the acquisition of the French Schneider Electric high-end industrial sensor division (Telemecanique Sensors) on November 1, 2023. After the completion of various integration and delivery operations, the two parties have officially completed the acquisition.

Yageo's acquisition was announced in October 2022 and will be carried out in cash with a total price of 686 million euros (approximately 4.977 billion yuan). This acquisition will implement Yageo's operational strategy of continuing to focus on high-end niche areas, further expand the product portfolio of high-end designs and high-end applications, and enhance Yageo's market position as a global niche component solution provider.
